Our Qualifications

All HGV mechanics are qualified by means of IRTEC licence, issued in the Large Commercial Vehicle & Trailer categories- valid for 5 years. Copies are available on request and are displayed on the workshop wall. For defect rectifications on-site, qualifications are on each mechanics’ own stamp to clearly display their qualifications.

Adding to her abundance of qualifications, she also holds a Transport Manager CPC qualification, to deliver an admin service that fully covers the technicalities and requirements of maintaining roadworthiness; across both Light and Heavy Commercial vehicle sectors.
  • Many of the staff who hold a Vocational Driving Licence have completed the Safe Urban Driving Course, in accordance with FORS requirements- enabling them to collect, test drive and deliver customer vehicles registered at the Silver & Gold FORS membership levels.

UK Truck & Plant Group gave me the best service I have ever had, and it will now be the only garage I ever go to. The customer service is incredible and around the clock. I had never owned a car before, and they educated me, advised me and made it feel like we were doing it together.
